1. Nature of materials
Theoretically speaking, the fine particles in the construction waste material that have a particle size smaller than the sieve hole size can pass through the sieve hole and become under-sieve matter, while the coarse particles larger than the sieve hole size will all remain on the sieve and become over-sieve matter.
However, in the actual operation of construction waste sorting equipment, due to the influence of many factors during the screening process, there will always be some fine particles smaller than the sieve holes remaining on the sieve to become over-the-sieve objects, and the products above the sieve do not pass through the sieve. There are more and more fine particles in the holes, which means that the screening effect is poor.
2. Types of screening surfaces
The shape of construction waste hard particles will also have an impact on the screening efficiency. Compared with spherical, cubic and polygonal particles, the screening efficiency is higher; when using square or circular mesh screens, the screening efficiency will be higher.
When the grains are flat or rectangular, the screening efficiency is low. Waste wires, tubular materials, etc. must be slowly passed through the sieve by threading the needle with one end facing down. The longer the material, the more difficult it is to pass through the sieve.
